Trademark and Occupy Wall Street

No, not silly registration attempts. Apparently Goldman Sachs had donated $5000 to a 25th anniversary party for a community bank (somehow this is related to its CRA obligations) at which OWS has a bank account. OWS is the honoree at the party. When Goldman Sachs discovered this, it threatened legal action unless the bank reprinted the invitations without its name. I can only assume that the "legal action" was based on trademark law. Trademark bullying at its finest?

Because saying that a bank sponsored your event, when it in fact sponsored your event, must be trademark infringement ...
